Built in 1894, this railroad bridge spans the Kettle River in Sandstone, Minnesota. At feat1stfilms we tell stories with tools that can best provide unique perspectives. We are certified UAV (unmanned aircraft systems) operators with hours of flight experience. In order to use the awesome images these "drones" can provide, a production company needs to be licensed... and we have the goods. |
Limestone & Felt
Dedicated to performing music of living composers, Boise's own 208 Ensemble performed Caroline Shaw's "Limestone & Felt" in a collaboration with members of the Boise dance company, Project Flux. This story was discovered in the editing. Syncing five different cameras and three performances to a master track of the music helped capture the spontaneity and energy of this collaborative performance. |

We love to be able to take a brand and fully explore the variety of stories that make up the whole. Documentary shorts or mini-docs are a great way to highlight the mission/story of a non-profit organization or business. Our curiosity and love of people inform everything we do. Spending the day with Dave and Jock was a joy and yes...lunch included a round of beers. |

The “Get Out The Vote” Tour! Medicaid Expansion For Idaho
Last year we were contacted by The Fairness Project to do some work on behalf of Reclaim Idaho. We had the honor of touring Idaho in a green RV. From Boise, Idaho to McCall, Idaho, Grangeville, Idaho to Lewiston, Idaho, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Sandpoint, Idaho. Watching the dedication and hard work of the folks behind Prop 2 was truly an inspiration. In a bipartisan effort, over 60% of idaho voters voted YES on an initiative that will benefit countless Idahoans. |

Building A Trail in Garden Valley

The Garden Valley Mountian bike team needed a place to practice skills and train...they took matters into their own hands. Part of a larger series of videos produce for the non-profit Idaho International Cycling Association (IICA), this video introduces you to the Garden Valley Wolverines. Ostensibly, their story is about building trails near their rural school, but it also shares a story of a community of high school mountian bike teams that is welcoming and inclusive. |
