Lynnette Pinkham, a Nez Perce tradition bearer from Lenore, Idaho, passes down traditional horse trapping techniques and storytelling to apprentice Jackie McArthur. Recognized by the Idaho Commission on the Arts, her mentorship centers on preserving cultural identity and community ties. The work celebrates the enduring resilience and artistic traditions of the Nez Perce people.

​FEAT1stFILMS Selected to document Idaho events for the Smithsonian Institution and it's Prestigious Folklife Festival

Boise, Idaho — FEAT1stFILMS is proud to announce it has been contracted  to serve as the official documentary team for Idaho's participation in the renowned Smithsonian Folklife Festival. This summer, the crew will travel across the state in June, beginning in the mountain town of Ketchum to film traditional female artisans preserving their time-honored crafts, before heading to the Blackfoot Ranch Rodeo to document the electrifying Indian Relay Races — one of the most thrilling and culturally significant equestrian traditions in the American West.
